Sharing and exporting, in one place
A transcript is only useful where you need it. This release adds subtitle files for video work, color-codes each speaker in exported PDFs, and puts every way of getting a recording out of Skriptr behind a single button.

Stability
Two fixes for problems you would only hit mid-task: scrubbing through audio, and opening a link from Settings.

Take your notes anywhere
Your transcript and summary no longer have to stay inside the app. Export a recording as a PDF or a text file, with the formatting, speaker labels and timestamps intact.

Recording that survives interruptions
A phone call or switching apps used to be enough to lose a recording. Now Skriptr keeps going, and picks up where it left off.

Bring in audio you already have
Not everything worth transcribing was recorded in Skriptr. Import an existing audio file and it goes through the same transcription and summary as anything you record.

Reliability
A round of fixes for the parts that matter most: playing recordings back, and getting them uploaded. Older recordings that lost their audio after an update now repair themselves.

A new name, a new icon and a fresh look — with everything you already had carried over. This release also gives you control over when recordings upload, which matters if you are on mobile data.
